I made this pineapple design for my best friend.... and have nicknamed it for her - the Glenda.
The pineapple symbolizes health, a warm welcome and hospitality and Glenda is the most welcoming and capable host you're ever going to come across..... not surprisingly, she loves pineapples.
I was thinking it would look well on a porch in South Carolina but this design is perfect anywhere. From a Hawaiian lanai to Virginia bedpost to a picket fence in Key West this design is perfect.
I find there's always a place for the pineapple somewhere; its a classic that blends easily with any decor.
